Question for Atheists.?

Atheist, have you ever had anything bad happen to you guys where you had things happen out of your control and you just was desperate for help? I know there are some Atheist here who are skeptical of God, instead of denying why not try to embrace it and find out yourself? Do you guys even pray, or just trying to find reasons to disprove God? Christian believe because of faith, we cannot prove God is real or not to you guys, but in their hearts they truly believe. Why don't you guys try and walk in some of these Christian people lives and do what they do and truly have an open heart to see if God does exist?
