I really dont know why I am so self conscious about my religion?

wow, atheist parents and you are still a christian? props for courage :) i'm an atheist myself but i love that people think for themselves, whatever they decide. it's not surprising you're insecure about religion, but you should know that most people are culturally indoctrinated to be respectful towards the religious, so from very few should you expect a hostile reaction. it's your belief, be proud of it!
