If I'm hungry after vomiting, does that mean all the food has gone from my stomach?

No, I'm not a bulimic, I have a bug at the moment. I'm just after vomiting and my stomach is making noise. I don't feel ill. I'm wondering if it's hunger pangs? I haven't been sick long (24hr bug) and have only vomited once.
